Mullein, with its soft velvet leaves and tall yellow flower spikes, has been a traditional herb for the chest and throat for over 2,000 years across Europe and beyond. Its natural mucilage gives it its famously soothing character.
Made from both leaf and flower, capturing the full range of saponins, mucilage and flavonoids. Many products use only the leaf and miss the flower entirely.
Shake well before each use, as natural separation occurs. Take 2–4 full pipettes daily, split into two servings — for example, 2 in the morning and 2 later in the day. Hold under the tongue for around 10 seconds, then swallow, or add to a small amount (approx. 50ml) of liquid and take as a shot.
Anyone wanting a traditional herb for the chest and throat, particularly through the winter months or in city air.
Mullein can be taken during the colder seasons or as a daily herb. Most people take it consistently for 2 to 4 weeks at a time.
Saponins, mucilage, hesperidin, verbascoside, aucubin, catalpol, coumarin and volatile oils.
