When Ötzi the Iceman was discovered in the Alps, he was carrying pieces of Birch Polypore strung on a leather thong — evidence that this humble birch mushroom has been valued by humans for at least 5,300 years. Traditionally used across Europe as a digestive tonic, it draws unique compounds from its birch host tree, including betulinic acid.
A slow dual extraction draws out both the water-soluble polysaccharides and the alcohol-soluble triterpenes and betulinic acid compounds that come from the birch.
Shake well before each use, as natural separation occurs. Take 2–4 full pipettes daily, split into two servings — for example, 2 in the morning and 2 later in the day. Hold under the tongue for around 10 seconds, then swallow, or add to a small amount (approx. 50ml) of liquid and take as a shot.
Anyone who wants traditional digestive support as part of a seasonal gut reset, and those following our Parasite Cleanse protocol who want an extra traditional herb alongside it.
Birch Polypore is traditionally used as a course. Most people take it daily for 4 to 6 weeks, often alongside the Parasite Cleanse Kit.
Piptamine, agaric acid, betulin and betulinic acid, polyporenic acid C, beta-glucans and lanostane-type triterpenes.
